Hypnosis is a state of focused inner awareness that originates within you. Although some people practice self-guided hypnosis, in a practitioner-facilitated quantum hypnosis session the practitioner supports and guides the process, while your own consciousness creates the experience.
In a session, I help guide you into a relaxed, receptive state and hold a supportive space for the work. Taking ownership of your experience means gently surrendering to yourself—allowing what is present to arise without effort. As you are guided, you are simply invited to describe what you are seeing, sensing, feeling, or perceiving, trusting that you are safe to explore and to follow the clarity seeking questions (I'm asking on your behalf) forward without trying to interpret, control, or analyze what is happening. When you allow the experience to unfold, the pieces tend to come together naturally.
This modality tends to be most supportive for those who feel ready to engage with their inner world with openness and personal responsibility, rather than projecting their experience outward. Projecting experience outward refers to a way of relating to life in which a person feels largely powerless over their inner experience and looks outside themselves for resolution or change. This often develops as a response to past experiences where safety or choice felt limited. In inner-focused work, a willingness to engage from within and take an active role in the process supports a more meaningful experience. My role is to accompany and support that process with presence and care, while your own consciousness leads the way.
QHHT® (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique) is the original quantum hypnosis method taught by Dolores Cannon, following the precise process and script she developed. It offers a structured and time-tested approach to accessing deeper levels of consciousness.
A Transformative Soul Journey (TSJ®), on the other hand, is a more flexible and adaptive form of quantum hypnosis. It allows the practitioner to incorporate additional techniques and guidance as needed to meet the unique needs of each individual, which can be helpful for those who may require extra time or support to enter a deep hypnotic state.
Both QHHT® and TSJ® share the same intention: to provide a safe space for inner exploration, connection, regression, and self-guided healing. The primary difference is practical—QHHT® sessions are conducted on-site and in person, following the original QHHT® script without modification, while TSJ® can be experienced in person or remotely online, offering additional flexibility for your circumstances.
True healing comes from within, and as Dolores Cannon, the founder of the QHHT® modality, often reminded her clients, “90% of this is going to be up to you.” My role is to hold a safe, supportive space and guide you gently, but the insights, answers, and transformations are your own—they already exist within you, waiting to be accessed.
Each person’s experience is unique. Some notice profound changes, some gradual shifts, and others subtle awareness. The key is your willingness to trust yourself, stay open, and engage with the process. When you do, the potential for meaningful change is always present.
Quantum hypnosis is truly remarkable in its depth and potential for insight and healing, but it is not a “magic pill.” While some people experience profound shifts during a single session—and I have been witness to many powerful and transformative stories—the process often continues long after the session ends.
We carry a lifetime of memories, emotions, and patterns. Quantum hypnosis helps you safely access and feel unprocessed emotions, offering clarity, guidance, and tools you can apply in your daily life. The integration of these insights is where your own participation becomes essential. Your higher consciousness continues to support and guide you even after the session, so you are never alone in your journey.
Sometimes, the layers of experiences, limiting beliefs, and emotional patterns are extensive, and it isn’t always possible to address everything in one session. The important thing to remember is that you always receive what you are ready for in that moment—and even a single session can spark profound transformation.
The Higher Self is commonly understood as the deepest, most authentic, and spiritually connected version of you—the part of you that is wise, compassionate, and aligned with truth, purpose, and inner peace. In TSJ® we use the term Higher Self, and in QHHT® the terms Subconscious (the SC) or Higher Self are used interchangeably. Other synonyms and contexts could be:
Spiritual View:
The Higher Self is your soul’s perspective, unbound by ego, fear, or conditioning. It’s the eternal part of you that remains connected to the divine, the universe, or God. People often try to connect with their Higher Self through meditation, prayer, or intuition.
Psychological View:
It’s your ideal or integrated self—the version of you that acts from inner knowing rather than reactivity. This might include values-based living, inner calm, and emotional intelligence.
Personal Development View:
Your Higher Self represents your best self—the person you aspire to be when you're living with intention, clarity, and integrity.
Deep intuition
Compassion and non-judgment
Inner peace and clarity
Detachment from ego and fear
A sense of purpose or alignment
Wisdom beyond personal experience
Usually, not at all. English, however, is my only language. So, if I have difficulty understanding due to a strong accent, I’ll be sure to let you know during our consultation and help you find a practitioner who could be a better fit. What matters most in a session is your openness, intention, and willingness to connect with your inner guidance. As long as you can understand and communicate in English, we can work together.
If anything ever feels unclear during the session, you are always welcome to ask for clarification. The process is gentle, supportive, and paced according to your comfort—we take all the time you need. Trust that your higher self will guide you and allow the session to unfold in the way that is right for you.
In a quantum hypnosis session, your belief system plays a role in how the experience unfolds. Your higher self communicates in ways that feel safe, familiar, and aligned with your current level of understanding. For some, this may appear as past-life, current-life, or even what feels like glimpses of the future. For others, it may show up as symbols, emotions, or stories that carry deep meaning.
There is no “right” way to experience a session—your inner wisdom will always meet you where you are. The more open and curious you are, the more space you create for insight, clarity, and transformation. I often suggest allowing yourself to ride the wave of whatever your higher self chooses to reveal in the moment, saving reflection and interpretation for afterward. In most cases, everything comes together naturally, beautifully, and in perfect timing.
No belief in past lives or reincarnation is required to benefit from a quantum hypnosis session. The technique works across cultures, religions, and philosophies because it is centered on connecting with your higher self—also called your subconscious in the QHHT® modality—a deeper part of you that holds insight, wisdom, and guidance.
The experiences that arise during a session—whether they seem like “past lives,” symbolic stories, or other forms—are directed by your higher self, not by any particular belief system. Some people perceive past-life experiences, while others experience current life, metaphorical, or symbolic journeys. In all cases, what matters most is the insight, clarity, and healing that emerges.
Each session is uniquely guided by your higher self, allowing the experience to unfold naturally and in a way that is most meaningful for you.
You can ask about anything that feels important to your soul’s journey. This might include life purpose, health concerns, relationship dynamics, career direction, spiritual gifts, or patterns you’re ready to shift. Even if something feels silly to ask, trust that there is a reason you want to ask it. We’ll go over your questions together before the session to make sure they’re clear and focused.
You may remember some or all of the session, but many people find that details fade quickly after the hypnosis session. That’s why you’ll receive a full audio recording link—so you can revisit the guidance and insights as often as you need for deeper understanding.
Even if you think you remember everything that took place during your session, make sure to listen to your recording at a later time (not while driving), & you'll likely be surprised by what you remember and what you don't. It is similar to waking up after a dream that feels very clear in the moment, but the details slip away fast.
Remember that you're aware, but not fully awake during hypnosis.
No. Quantum hypnosis is not therapy and does not replace medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. It is a non-clinical, spiritual tool for self-exploration and higher guidance.
Come well-rested, hydrated, un-caffeinated (switch to decaf or half caffeinated for the day if you need coffee), and with a list of heartfelt questions you’d like to explore. Wear comfortable clothing, bring snacks or lunch, and allow plenty of time before and after your session so you don’t feel rushed. Additional preparation tips will be provided once a session is booked, but the main thing to remember is that this is your special time to go deep.
Caffeine, stimulants, and certain substances can make it harder for your body and mind to fully relax—which is key for entering the deep, focused state needed during a QHHT® session. The process works best when your nervous system is calm and your mind is clear.
Stimulants like coffee, energy drinks, or even strong tea can keep the brain overly alert, making it more challenging to access the slower brainwave states where deep connection and insight happen. Similarly, alcohol or recreational substances may dull awareness or interfere with the clarity of the session.
For the best experience, it's recommended to avoid caffeine and mind-altering substances for at least 24 hours before your session. This gives your system time to settle so you can drop in more easily, receive clearer guidance, and fully benefit from your journey.
Many people find that a quantum hypnosis session can bring up emotions, sometimes gently and sometimes more intensely. This is natural—your higher self often guides you to feel and release emotions, memories, or insights that your conscious mind hasn’t fully processed.
Some sessions may bring tears, laughter, or even a sense of relief and lightness. Others may feel calm and peaceful throughout. There is no “right” way to experience it, and every session unfolds uniquely for each person.
The process is safe and supportive, and you are fully held throughout the session. Your higher consciousness is with you every step of the way, and you are never alone in whatever arises.
TSJ® sessions can be offered online. QHHT® is only offered in person, as taught by Dolores Cannon.
For a smooth and enjoyable online TSJ® session, you’ll need a device such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a webcam and a stable internet connection that can run Microsoft Teams. You do not need a Microsoft Teams account or the application installed to join a Teams meeting. Participants can join directly through a web browser (like Edge or Chrome) as a guest. When clicking the meeting link, select "Continue on this browser" to join without installing the app.
A reliable wired headset with a microphone close to your mouth and good sound quality is important for clear communication. (Bluetooth headsets can run out of battery quickly, and built-in laptop microphones usually aren’t sufficient.) Make sure you have a wired headset and any necessary adapters for your wired headset, depending on the device you're using for the Teams Meeting. It’s important that I can clearly see your eyes and upper body clearly during the session.
You’ll want a quiet, comfortable space where you can fully relax for the duration of the session. This could be a bed, sofa, or reclining armchair—anywhere you feel safe, cozy, and free from interruptions such as pets or other people in your home.
It’s especially important that you are alone in your space for the duration of our time together. Even if someone is in another room, their presence can be distracting on a subtle level and may pull your awareness outward.
Choose a quiet, private room where you feel safe, comfortable, and uninterrupted. Let anyone you live with know you’ll need complete privacy, silence, and freedom from interruptions. This allows your nervous system to relax and your inner guidance to come forward naturally.
Creating this intentional, protected space supports a deeper, clearer, and more meaningful session experience.
Pro Tip: Wired video game headsets with microphones typically work great if you have a gamer in your house that you can borrow from for your session. If you need to purchase a headset, here is an example of a viable option (just make sure it fits your device (or you also have the right adapter on hand) to make it fit your device you'll be using to join the Teams meeting link).
Fear is a natural part of the human experience, and it can show up in a quantum hypnosis session in subtle or more noticeable ways. Often, it appears as resistance, tension, or self-doubt about what might arise during the session. Your higher self may guide you to confront, release, or transform these fears in a safe and supportive environment.
Fear does not prevent the session from being effective, but it can influence how deeply you relax or how fully you connect with your inner guidance. Being aware of your fears and approaching them with curiosity and openness allows you to move through them more easily and access the insights, clarity, and healing that your higher self is ready to provide.
Remember: the process is gentle, and you are never alone. Your higher consciousness is with you throughout, supporting you every step of the way. Trusting yourself and allowing the session to unfold naturally helps fear serve as a guide rather than a barrier to allowing in the transformation you seek.
Quantum hypnosis has the potential to support any mentally healthy person in connecting with their inner guidance or higher self. While the process itself is gentle and natural, the way a session unfolds is influenced by your mindset, openness, and willingness to participate.
One of the most important factors is your ability to temporarily soften analytical thinking and allow yourself to be guided by the experience rather than trying to control or evaluate it as it happens. For some people, this comes easily. For others, it may take a bit of practice—and that’s perfectly okay. Practices such as meditation, visualization, or simply setting aside quiet time to reflect can help you become more comfortable with this inner state. If you’ve ever allowed yourself to suspend disbelief while reading a book or watching a movie, this is very much the same idea.
Intention plays a meaningful role in the process. Intention is not about forcing a specific outcome or demanding answers—it’s about showing up with openness, curiosity, and a genuine willingness to receive whatever is most supportive for you in that moment. When intention is rooted in trust rather than expectation, the experience tends to unfold more naturally.
Self-doubt, on the other hand, can interrupt the flow of the session. Questioning yourself, judging what you’re experiencing, or worrying about whether you’re “doing it right” can pull you out of the experience. Think of self-doubt as a signal to pause, breathe, and gently return to allowing rather than analyzing.
The most meaningful sessions often arise from a balanced state of calm openness—where you’re engaged, present, and receptive, without trying to control the outcome. When you approach the session with a positive, grounded mindset and trust in your own inner wisdom, you create the conditions for the experience to unfold in the way that’s most aligned for you.
While quantum hypnosis can be deeply supportive, there are certain circumstances where a session may not be the right fit at this time. This work requires a level of emotional stability and grounding in order to engage safely and effectively.
Sessions are not recommended for individuals currently experiencing severe psychiatric conditions such as psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or active delusions. The same applies to certain neurological conditions, including epilepsy, as well as significant cognitive impairments. If you have recently experienced a heart attack, stroke, or are dealing with thrombosis, a session is also not advised.
Active addiction to alcohol, drugs, or certain medications—including the use of psychotropic substances—can interfere with clarity, focus, and the overall safety of the process. For this reason, it’s important that clients are in a stable and grounded state. Sessions are also not recommended during the third trimester of pregnancy.
That said, conditions such as mild to moderate depression, anxiety, personality patterns, or managed cardiovascular concerns do not automatically rule out a session. What matters most is your current level of stability, self-awareness, and ability to remain present and grounded.
If you’re unsure whether this work is appropriate for you, you’re always welcome to reach out. I’m happy to have a conversation and explore your situation together with care and honesty.
Many people worry that they need to be completely “knocked out” for hypnosis to work, similar to anesthesia. In reality, that level of trance—sometimes referred to as a somnambulistic state and discussed in Dolores Cannon’s early work—is quite rare and largely based on natural predisposition. At the time she began practicing, many clients also had little to no conscious recall of their sessions.
Since then, however, both individual and collective consciousness have shifted significantly. People today are generally more open, more self-aware, and more accustomed to inward exploration. As a result, most clients now remain consciously aware during their sessions and are able to remember their experiences clearly—without this reducing the depth or effectiveness of the work.
For most people, hypnosis is experienced as a heightened state of awareness—calm, focused, and expansive—often described as feeling slightly outside of ordinary space and time. You may be aware of your surroundings while simultaneously deeply connected inward. This is a natural and highly effective state for insight, connection, and healing to occur.
If you’re concerned about depth, regular practices can be very supportive. A daily meditative routine that includes consciousness-expanding meditations, intentional relaxation, and gentle visualization techniques can help you become more comfortable accessing these inner states. These practices build trust in your own awareness and strengthen your ability to follow inner guidance.
You’ll find supportive tools and preparation guidance under the Resources tab. And remember—depth is not something to strive for or force. Your experience will always meet you exactly where you are, and that is precisely where the work unfolds.
Quantum hypnosis is a deeply personal and introspective experience and is conducted one-on-one only. Having another person present—even someone you trust or feel close to—can subtly influence the energetic space and affect how freely your inner guidance communicates during the session.
You’re welcome to have someone accompany you to the office location and wait nearby or return to pick you up afterward. The session itself, however, is designed to be a private space where you can fully relax, focus inward, and allow the process to unfold without external influence.
At a higher level of consciousness, everything is deeply interconnected. Because of this, it can sometimes be possible to receive insight, guidance, or supportive healing related to someone who is not physically present—when it is appropriate and aligned with the highest good of all involved.
Your session is always centered on you. However, there may be moments when your Higher Self naturally brings forward information connected to a close relationship, such as a child, partner, family member, or even an animal. In these cases, guidance may arise by inviting their Higher Self into the session in a respectful and loving way.
This process is always guided by Higher Wisdom. If a question isn’t appropriate, necessary, or aligned with free will, the information simply won’t come through—or it may be offered in a way that supports compassion, insight, and healing without overstepping boundaries. There is no risk to privacy, as Higher Consciousness only shares what is safe, supportive, and meant to be known.
Standing in for a person entirely is called a surrogate session.
Surrogate sessions can be especially supportive when someone is unable or medically/physically can't attend a session themselves, or when a parent or caregiver is seeking clarity, understanding, or gentle healing support for a loved one. For adults, conscious permission must be given in advance. For children, a parent or legal guardian may provide consent on their behalf.
Above all, sessions unfold with care and intention. What comes forward is always guided by what is most loving, supportive, and helpful in that moment—for you and for those connected to you.
Immediately after a session, it’s helpful to take time to ground yourself and reconnect with your body. Drink water, have a light snack, and allow yourself a few quiet moments to rest, breathe, or take a gentle walk. Simple grounding practices—like stretching, journaling, spending time in nature, or mindful breathing—can help your mind and body integrate the insights and experiences from your session.
Many people notice a sense of clarity, calm, and inner perspective. Insights gained during the session may continue to unfold over hours, days, or even weeks, sometimes in subtle or surprising ways. You may notice shifts in emotions, thought patterns, or physical sensations as your higher self continues to guide and integrate what arose during the session.
It’s also normal to experience brief feelings of melancholy, nostalgia, or deep reflection. These emotions are part of the natural process of releasing, processing, and integrating experiences or insights. They often pass naturally and can be a sign that meaningful growth is taking place.
Some clients feel immediate relief, understanding, or inspiration, while others notice gradual changes over time. Taking quiet time for reflection, journaling, or gentle self-care in the days following a session can be helpful. Your higher consciousness remains with you afterward, supporting integration, insight, and personal growth.
